As early as 1909, Stäubli set up its first production site in France, followed by further expansions to European countries, America, Japan, China and Korea. Stäubli started out as a technological pioneer and reliable partner in the weaving industry and expanded its expertise to connection solutions. Initially with quick couplings for pneumatics and hydraulics, later for electrical power and data.
